@wtg said in Private health tracking system announced: a White House event dubbed “Making Health Technology Great Again.” Again? Was there some era of great health technology in the 50s or something?

Still bad air quality today (157 on the apple weather app) - entering day 2 of the 4 day Lollapalloza music fest downtown. Gridlock in our neighborhood again certain times of the day and night. At least it's cooler which should help the paramedics!

Hearing today. https://abcnews.go.com/US/kerr-county-texas-lead-emergency-management-official-asleep/story?id=124237644

I was was watching lighting exploding over the Divide tonight from my back yard. Huge black hammerhead clouds shooting out bolts in the distance. For once I just enjoyed watching without taking photos. Jodi there will definitely be fires from all these electrical storms we've been having. So much more rain than usual for this time of year! But not enough to prevent the fires.

Fab house, lovely. I know it's got a beach but an indoor pool would be nice to have.

I loved his choice for the Musical Coda...

Yea, the article talks about other disciplines being impacted, too. And businesses. I think it's the suddenness of the changes and the broad impacts that are the takeaways for me. edit: But the suddenness is probably more in my head. Like the article points out, some of these trends have been observed for some time.

@Steve-Miller The hotel sounds wonderful!! @Steve-Miller said in Eating my way through Central Europe: This miniature kitchen Cool, I'll show him! P.S. Quiet air conditioning is the best. Noisy hotel ACs are the bane of my existence!!!!

@Daniel. I’m not seeing any credible confirmation that Osbourne went to Switzerland. What is your source? I could only find speculation online.

And in other news, the UK has become a police state. Link to video

I'd seen that number and have found that pretty easy to hit in the city. Not sure when the weather gets more challenging!

I've been playing with some frequency. It had been a long time since I had an instrument to use, so I am very rusty. A bit of neuropathy in my little fingers is an extra impediment. The piano is all that I expected. It is probably more than I could justify based on who will be playing it most frequently, but you only live once. I've been rifling through the immense stacks of music I've accumulated over the years, picking out things that seem at least somewhat doable. There is a lot of satisfaction lurking there. Big Al

Seems like more and more musicians around my age are dying. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. RIP Chuck Mangione. Big Al

@AndyD And they don't always make the corners! Like Gregor Mühlberger yesterday. Link to video
