I would seriously consider moving there if I were younger. I read the language much better than I speak it. Was surprised to get a passing grade in a college French class. Did much better in a reading only class.

I liked the handy little trucks Toyota made. Rented a RV built on one in Alaska. Would make a handy second vehicle. Try and failing to justify buying one.

Ha - I totally understand! Sometimes it helps me to think of those notes as where I'm aiming - the rest leads to or away from those. It gives a sense of direction for my mind...

Many types of immigrants and visa holders, if they are authorized to work or to received taxable payments in the USA, would be eligible to get Social Security numbers. Even foreign students with F-1 student visas may be given Social Security numbers. In some cases there are legitimate Social Security cards with the verbiage "NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT" on them, and these would still carry valid Social Security numbers that is good for banking and getting a loan. It's complicated, which makes do diligence and due process even more important when messing with it.
