@Steve-Miller Sounds like fun! Your post title made me go searching for performances by my favorite pairs couple, the Protopopovs. I know, I know, I'm old. The Protopopovs dominated pairs skating in the 1960s. I found this video of them performing in 2013. Oleg was 81 at the time and Lyudmila was 78. Link to video

The Supreme Court has ordered the Trump administration to "facilitate" the return to the United States of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man who was mistakenly taken to El Salvador and remains in custody there. My grandmother tended the strawberry bed on the farm where I grew up. A job I had when I was little was sitting at the table where we had berries for sale and collecting the money from the customers. I recall that "Midway" was a variety of strawberry she particularly favored. I believe they're still available. Big Al

@Bernard "But already Trump is ignoring the courts. He is deporting people despite the court order halting the deportations. " So he is in contempt of court. It's possible this will make a difference, that it is contempt, rather than that he had the legal right to do it and so is untouchable. I've also pretty much lost all faith in the Ds. There is going to have to be some kind of organic uprising. No one is going to save us but ourselves.

That guy is a transactional bully. A complete and total asshole. And a lot of much nastier names. I don’t hate many people, but that man is on my list.

Trans people have already been through so much hell. Many of them have lost their families, friends, jobs over the years of coming to terms with their identity. They must be experiencing a lot of anguish right now. My heart goes out to them. (I am thinking of some individuals in particular I got to know well.)

You want butt crack? Come to my gym. Lots of the women are wearing tights that act like thongs, deep into the crack. It’s quite sightly, but unfair to us old lechers. You kind of have to try not to look.
