RE: Bluesky
Never had Twitter. I am only on Facebook (and here). Leery of engaging in another internet distraction.

RE: Do any of you do the NYT Cooking App?
I don’t use the app, but I have a NYT subscription, so I see the latest recipes as they are published (online and in the Sunday paper). Some are great, others less so. And some are poorly written (leaving out important steps, etc.). I reject the ones that require multiple fussy steps that I just don’t have time for. Or if I do take the time, the results had better be pretty terrific. (I have a graveyard of printed recipes on which I’ve written “Don’t make again.”)

RE: Back from Detroit
Just now seeing this. Wow, a great travelogue, Steve! I love your eye for the beauty of these monumental buildings. Nice to see what's happening in Detroit.
I'm also fond of my hometown of Buffalo. Very prosperous place at the turn of the 20th century, and you can see it in the grand mansions, public buildings and Olmsted's parkway system. Very gracious.

RE: Order
Order! Yes, I'm going to order some things from Amazon. That should calm me down, at least a bit.

RE: Will you watch election night coverage?
I admit it, we have MSNBC on most of the time. So that’s where we’ll probably be.

RE: Are you crazier now than you were four years ago?
Trump has given half the country greater anxiety for the past 4 years, and that’s without even being in office. He just never goes away.
