OMG! I don’t think I’ve ever heard of temperatures in that range! Ok. I googled and there is a recording of 54C in Death Valley in 2013. (There are other, hotter recordings but they’re all further back, like in the 1940s or 1920s, so the recorded are less reliable). In any case, I can’t even begin to imagine what that would feel like. Isn’t it temps in the 40s (Celsius) in Arizona when places have trouble taking off? Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but these high temps are scary to me.

I love iced tea (sweet tea? Sweetened iced tea? Whatever you call it in your neck of the woods!). I don’t drink it on the regular, but with vodka it’s my favourite summer boozy drink. I drink club soda with ice pretty much all the time, but in the summer I love to muddle some fresh berries and add them with a lime. Sometimes with a bit of mint.

@Jack-Frost Assuming you're just using the default skin as far as colors, what you should see is a big red circle with a "J" in it in the upper right hand corner. Click on it. You'll get a dropdown. Select Edit Profile. On that page you can Change Picture. I suspect you should be good from there, but if not, please post again and I'll walk through the rest of the steps.

Yea, the groupee software is a bit long in the tooth and this place does have some nice features. Still, some folks would prefer to stay put in a familiar place. I'd hate to lose more people if a move is dealbreaker for them; our ranks are already pretty thin. I'll go wherever y'all do. Except FB. Never joined and don't plan to.

There's a row of icons at the top of the page after WTF Beta. If you hover over them it will pop up a description of what it is. I use the clock ("Recent") to take me to the page of current topics that lists the most recent posts, pretty much the same as the other WTF> I also use the one that looks like a person's head and shoulders ("Users"). If you click on Users it will take you to a list of people who are registered, and once you're there you can click on Online to see who is logged in. It's equivalent to the Member List on the other site.

I'm here too. (Amanda) Where are the emoticons and special features (like URL)? I can't even figure out what my password is as it's generated by auto-fill. Guess I registered earlier and forgot it...(going to check password minder!).
