Interesting that NASA has been trying to distance themselves from the study.

In other words, "You can't fool Mother Nature."
I feel comforted that even if human society is doomed, the planet will recover without us.
But I also like that there is the choice of having an egalitarian or equal society, and that if we made that choice we could also manage natural resources and our own imprint on the planet in such a way that human society would be sustainable.
Too bad we as a species don't have enough of a sense of self-preservation or the capacity to think ahead to choose one of those options instead of the stupid trajectory we are on.
