Yes, Bernard, I agree. He lacks a viable plan to exit, can't control the fact the war is escalating, and has no viable plan to win, winning being something for which he lacks a definition. Yes, Ron, I agree. The machinations that led to him to start this illegal war cannot be undone. We have heard about the desire to wage an illegal war on Iran from both Netanyahu and American Neocons for the last forty years. It was always going to be a disaster.

I think his he has dementia, and forms his decision making process on what he's told and what he wants to believe. I know he's the center of a cult of personality, but man, even the left doesn't get this screwed over after a Democratic presidential win.

I apologize for my tangent. The topic is obviously the cabinet. I think there's "nobody home" in this government. The knowledgeable, capable people are in the Pentagon and intelligence. They have been ignored. Both houses of Congress are corrupt and useless. This isn't the Supreme Court's finest hour, either. I'd like to think that this administration is aberrant and there will be a return to some kind of normalcy but I don't know.
