Try cooking with no electricity, no range, no refrigerator, and no freezer... for a year. It's a small miracle I'm still alive. I'm looking forward to doing intensive experimentation with shopping, cooking, and my diet, the universe willing, soon.

@Steve-Miller said in What do you think about this one?: Looks nice! I like the front windows. I do too. I like the way they look and they're likely to be recent replacements given the looks of this place.

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/29/world/asia/trump-south-korea-crown-gyeongju.html President Lee Jae Myung of South Korea presented President Trump with a replica of a golden crown excavated from one of the ancient royal tombs in Gyeongju. https://www.nytimes.com/2025/10/29/us/politics/tariff-trump-south-korea-trade.html Mr. Lee presented him with a medal symbolizing the nation’s highest honor. Then came a replica of a golden crown that was excavated from one of the ancient royal tombs in Gyeongju, the seat of a long-gone kingdom. “I’d like to wear it right now,” Mr. Trump said.

@kluurs That's very interesting. I did play the Polonaise today and got through the whole piece (without repeats due to class time limitations). Before I started, I wasn't sure I would actually make it to the end. So it was productive. Got some good advice.

Yeah, Congress's first job is to uphold the Constitution, regardless what a lot of brain washed fools want. The members of Congress swore on oath to perform their Constitutional duties. If so many people want a different Constitution, there are mechanism for that which do not involve breaking the law or neglecting solemn duties.

Donald Trump berated Mike Pence, calling his then-vice president a "wimp" during their final phone call on Jan. 6, 2021, hours before Congress certified the 2020 election of Joe Biden, according to Pence's previously unpublished notes included in a new book by ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jonathan Karl. According to court filings, had his case against Trump gone to trial, special counsel Jack Smith planned to use the handwritten notes -- hastily scribbled on Pence's day planner -- as evidence to document the hours before Trump allegedly directed a violent mob to storm the Capitol. "You'll go down as a wimp," Trump told Pence about his decision not to block Biden's certification, according to Pence's notes about the call on the morning of Jan. 6, just before the president took the stage at the "Save America" rally on the Ellipse. "If you do that, I made a big mistake 5 years ago," Pence wrote Trump told him. The exclusive details are reported in Karl's upcoming book, "Retribution: Donald Trump and the Campaign that Changed America." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/youll-wimp-pences-published-notes-key-evidence-case/story?id=126837443
