@Big_Al Glad you spotted this post, Dol. If you should find yourself in this area visiting the store, I hope we can finally meet. Big Al

I agree with Steve. And if I had this apartment in this building in this neighborhood with these views I'd decorate it myself.

I enjoyed that. The comments section was interesting. Seems like politics has to enter every conversation at some point. The black keys on the Steinway look a little beat up. I'm not sure what would have caused that. Side note: the concertmaster is the spitting image of one of my former bosses. Big Al

@pique said in Question about leasing vs buying a car: We just sold our 2006 Honda CRV with 200k miles on it. The reason we sold it is because I found the seats to be absolutely crippling. That became my #1 criteria in car shopping--the comfort and support of the seats. Same here. Hondas are great cars in many respects but the seats are like sitting on flat boards. The five hour drive up to Door County in my Mom's Accord used to leave my back in bad shape. Plus in my case, there's not enough thigh support; I'm 5'10". Toyota and Subaru seats, OTOH, are very comfy for me.

Yes, but often they are total junk. But I'll keep looking and reading reviews.

That seems like a very partisan analysis. The cost of housing is now sky high, there is a homeless crisis involving all ages including people in their '70's, '80's, and '90's in all states, the border was tasked to Harris on Day 1 and it's a disaster, the cost of living has risen significantly, no politicians even bother to talk about a $15 minimum wage anymore, Medicaid had been envisersted. The public found out he had severe dementia, which had been covered up by everyone close to him starting with his wife. His administration is involved in several controversial foreign wars, he's been replaced on the ticket by a person who has never won a single delegate, and her main theme is that democracy is on the ballot. It's not just a very poor record. It's a farcical one. He is presiding over a genocide. He is the worst president in my lifetime, imo.

Any house with a urinal gets my vote. I'd have to re-do the front, upgrade the furniture, and some of the appliances.

@wtg I can't comment on what you posted but my brain translates it as-- "now." I got my first of three Hep A/B vaccinations the other day and the pharmacist told me the schedule is-- "0, 1, 6." It seems like a practical notion to me so I've adopted it.
