Yes, watched the fireworks with our kids, a TV night with Koppenburg pear cider in our glasses, and a slice of stollen cake.
Who will have the best display this year I wonder?

Experimenting with making Hainanese Chicken Rice from a box of seasoning "kit."
Need to supply the raw chicken, the uncooked rice, chicken stock, and some oil; but the seasoning "kit" supposedly has everything else you need to make the chicken and rice into Hainanese Chicken Rice.

Watching Mary Berry's Cooking Made Simple, full season that just went up on Youtube a few days ago. Nibbling some lovely Stilton and cranberry/cinnamon Chevre with fruit and nut bread while sipping wine. Enjoying the peace of my surroundings.
