Bah. I always think of it as a cloud, but it's really a speech bubble icon, I guess. In any event, looks like we're good...

I have a couple of bottles of olive oil from Costco too. I should try that! I appreciate that they state the harvest date on the label. They should all do that.

I was in a hotel close to the cathedral in 1977. Once I visited there, I was so captivated, I went there every single day of my Paris visit. I even attended services there. I found the atmosphere in Notre Dame just very powerful and inspiring. Yes, I did explore a lot more of the city, but the Notre Dame Cathedral was my daily touchstone. Have no idea if I would feel the same way about the rebuilt cathedral, from looking at the broadcasts. I don't think the qualities that moved me could be captured on film.

The camera on my new phone is amazing! The trade in offer made getting it fairly painless.

100 years younger, but Butte has the nation’s oldest continuously run Chinese restaurant. I haven’t been. (It hasn’t gotten exactly glowing reviews from friends lately for food) Started somewhere around 1909. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/history-first-chinese-restaurant-in-america-180980552/

Most of my Mader knowledge of Japanese language comes from that book. I started watching the new series but then lost Hulu.

The mousse was delectable, and I'm glad I only made half the recipe because it is too addictive. We had a lovely day at home and I did get out for a ride. On the advice of a friend we watched a comedy special, Alex Edelman's "Just for Us". Hilarious and poignant--I highly recommend.
