The disability stuff is probably unfair. Unlike SSDI the fact that he can farm oysters doesn’t make him ineligible for VA disability. But the ‘prolier than thou’ stuff was always a ruse. He was an upper middle class kid who went to a very fancy private school until he got kicked out. His father bought his house for him. He told friendly press that he only makes about 5k a year farming oysters and his mom’s restaurant is his only business. He makes almost 5k a month on disability.

We don’t swim off our local beaches either, in general. Although there is a group called Swimmers of Anarchy who brave the waters in all temperatures.
