We’re back

Mr. SK and I were in Japan for the last three weeks, we came back yesterday. FWIW he made it through without any secondary screening and I didn’t see anything that looked out of the ordinary.

Now we fight the jet lag… we both woke up at 2am and couldn’t go back to sleep.

It was good, very intense! I was mostly working (I had a visiting research fellow appointment so I was working on a research project) and didn't do much vacation-y stuff. But that was fine since my mobility was rather limited and it was dangerously hot pretty much the whole time we were there.

But it was nice to see Mr SK's parents, and the food was soooo, soooo good!!

I don't know Mr. SK's immigration status, but I've had real concerns about people I know who have traveled outside the country.
