Yeah, I like the bathroom tile. My problem is the whole thing looks like a Dali interpretation of a preschool.

There are portions of it I totally love, especially the multi-colored walls. I don't like the decor at all, but it would be the perfect starting point for my fantasy barrio inspired southwestern home!

I would totally keep the tiles in the bathroom. I don’t like the carpet in the living room at all. But holy carp am I tired of this ridiculous neutral thing that is going on in interior decorating now - all the grey and white, or nuetral and white - it’s so freaking boring!!

100%!! I especially cannot stand all the gray floors and black kitchen cabinets. So morbid. I recently saw a listing that had turquoise painted wood floors and huge red velvet sofas in the living room and I just loved it. When we were house hunting I told the realtor to not bother sending me any listings that had gray LVP floors. UGLY. A cheap looking.

As to the listing, while that shade of yellow on the walls is awful, as is the carpeting, the bathroom tiles are wonderful, and the layout is great. That particular neighborhood is as dull as dishwater so I'm guessing the owners needed some color in their lives.

Note that the virtually staged images all in grays and whites are just as ugly. Warm colors, please, especially in a climate with cold winters.

                This!

When I was posting here and at Piano Tell about decorating my new piano room, someone gave me some advice about one of the prints I was considering hanging on the wall. It was the big bold black abstract one. The person pointed out that I might like it in June when it's bright, sunny and very green outside, but in February, I might just hate it.

That comment really hit home and I took that print out of consideration!

@ShiroKuro Well, you could have summer art and winter art! A rotating collection…

Doing a Christmas tree is about the only seasonal decorating and take-down I want to deal with!

                      I agree with Steve.

And if I had this apartment in this building in this neighborhood with these views I'd decorate it myself.
