How many clocks do you have to change?

Seven, counting a wristwatch, and not counting the microwave which is often unplugged anyway. We leave it at 88:88.

Fourteen, but a few will not be started up so probably around 12.
I like to listen to a fine mechanical watch by putting it to my ear.
I might be able to tolerate a flip clock but I doubt it.
That's why I had to hide my digital watch.
I can't make it stop beeping on the hour.
I can't stand hearing it.

two, just my car and the microwave.
Don’t like to brag, but I’ve already fixed the clock in the car…

The Persistence of Memory (often mistaken as "The Persistence of Time") is held at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
If you are thinking of a similarly named masterpiece by Salvador Dalí, here is where his most famous time-related works are located:
• The Persistence of Memory (1931) – Featuring the iconic melting clocks, this painting is housed at MoMA in New York City.
• The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory (1952–1954) – Dalí's later reinterpretation of the original work is held at The Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
If you meant a different piece of art or a specific collection, let me know! Are you planning a visit to see it, or looking for historical details about the painting?

This one is at the Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg. I've seen it. I'd like to see it again.

Since all of mine except two are antique wind-ups they simply need to be stopped and re-started an hour later. They cannot go backward.
-
@Bernard I didn’t know that wind up clocks can’t go backward… well maybe I did but I forgot.

@ShiroKuro It's probably ok on modern mechanical clocks. But it could have dire consequences for antique chiming clocks.
-
@shirokuro You never wind a mechanical watch backwards, either. I don't even do that with my quartz Casio analog.
