Pizza scissors
-
I'm going against the grain. We've been using scissors on pizza for a long time. Today I bought our first rolling pizza cutter. Ha!

We have regular kitchen shears, but have not tried them with pizza. The fact that the blades come apart would definitely be an advantage for cleaning off dried cheese.
Tip: make sure to let a hot pizza rest for a few minutes before cutting, so the cheese solidifies a bit.

@Nina That rolling cutter would be great for a cornmeal crust pizza! I love the cornmeal crust pizza from Dové Vivi in NE PDX, sometimes get it parbaked to finish at home. Scissors would not be effective. I’m not throwing away my roller!
@AdagioM yes! And also Costco has a veggie pizza with a cauliflower based crust that is really good, and similar. The crust is thin and almost cracker-like. The pizza itself doesn't scream "pizza" but it's a very tasty combination of veggies nonetheless. That's actually what inspired me to buy the roller.
