I don't go to any of these...

Going to museums, movies, and theater may help your body stay younger

Regular trips to museums, theaters, and cinemas may help your body stay biologically younger, according to a new study.

I used to have memberships at museums and go periodically when I lived in the city. Now going to a museum usually means I’m on vacation.

I guess I’ll have to rely on 100+mi a week on my bike and 5 days a week in the gym to keep me youngish.

I’m relying on daily piano practice, which I know keeps the mind active, but it’s not everything. I need to get out on my bike more (more than a toodle around the park road) and need some weight-bearing exercise. I like museums and galleries and feel negligent because I am right in NYC where there are plenty. I do go to concerts, though, which is very fulfilling.

I can unequivocally say that going to a movie theater ages me. I haven't been to one since "The Devil Wears Prada" first came out. And it will remain the last. Movie goers had gotten so rude, even back then. I can only imagine what it's like now.

          The industrial revolution cheapened everything.

like Miranda, I stay young by doing what I love.

otherwise, I’m like wtg- I haven’t gone to these places, hardly at all in years.

This thread reminded me of this perk: https://about.bankofamerica.com/en/making-an-impact/arts-and-culture#museums-on-us
