I canât even tell you how crazy it makes me that putting two women, or a woman and a gay man, on the ticket is thinkable. I know that beating the carrot is of utmost importance, but even if a mad man wasnât in danger of being re-elected, it would still be unthinkable. I, for one, think it would be refreshing for two people who have had to fight for their rights (and who currently risk losing them) to be in charge.
But, everyone knows what will actually happen.

Itâs part of a vibe shift Democrats are feeling since Biden announced he wouldnât seek re-election. Thereâs less focus on the dire consequences of electing Trump again â though those consequences are certainly still part of the motivation â and more on detailing what Democrats want to do if they win.
âBeing anti-Trump canât be what the Democratic message is,â she said. âThe Democratic message has to be about how we will govern differently from Republicans.â
