Only a 3 hour delay in the end Delta handled it as well as could be expected. We had to wait for a fresh crew due to their rules.

No, but we were up front and heard him apologize to the pilot saying he didn’t really have a gun or bomb. I think he ate one too many gummies.

I don’t think they arrested him. He sat in the terminal near the other passengers for quite a while then left on his own.

Christmas ham is in the oven. My new Meater wireless thermometer is telling me that heating it is going to take 45 minutes longer than Martha Stewart said. The family is not going to be happy.

Will no one rid us of this felon?

Upside is that with the ham bone Jane gave me yesterday I now have TWO ham bones. With my newly adopted NY resolution being making a Rick Bayless recipe once per week I am all set to make delicious bean recipes!

The Christmas cake I made last month is fabulously delicious! I'm so pleased with it. 36 oz. of fruit, brandy, port, marsala, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, etc. As a fruitcake lover, it's bliss. My maple chocolates also came out fantastic.

We had ravioli plus meatballs for dinner yesterday, simple but yummy and Mr SK loves it.

Our daughter has done all the cooking this trip. She made a delicious sausage, egg, cheese and English muffin casserole for breakfast. We’d been noshing off and on, so instead of the planned chicken pot pie she made a puff pastry stuffed with Brie and cranberry orange relish. Excellent. For dessert I had one of her THC gummies. Didn’t really notice much of anything from it.

I got invited to RM's sister's house and declined. RM decided not to go and excused himself as possibly having a cold. He was tired. He cooked a nice meal on Christmas Eve. He made the dessert today and we'll have it later tonight.

The mousse was delectable, and I'm glad I only made half the recipe because it is too addictive. We had a lovely day at home and I did get out for a ride. On the advice of a friend we watched a comedy special, Alex Edelman's "Just for Us". Hilarious and poignant--I highly recommend.
