There will be. He started from the bottom, so he’s not to that point yet. I suspect he’s saved the easiest part for last.

Very nicely done! Glad he was able to work with the existing carpet. It looks almost new and it would have been a shame to have to replace it.

Thanks everyone! Yep, it couldn’t have worked out better! And I’m so glad we didn’t do an actual wall there instead, esp. given how nice the room is down there.

And I am glad we got it installed now, before we moved. It’s definitely safer, and it’s one of those things that if you didn’t do right away, it would just stay that way forever. Until someone fell off the stairs
