A third video.
In a bystander video obtained by the AP, protesters can be heard blowing whistles and shouting profanities at agents on Nicollet Avenue.
The video shows an officer shoving a person who is wearing a brown jacket, green skirt and black tights and carrying a water bottle. That person reaches out for a man and the two link up, embracing.
The man, wearing a brown jacket and black hat, seems to be holding his phone up toward the officer.
The same officer shoves the man in his chest and the two, still embracing, fall back.
The video then shifts to a different part of the street and then comes back to the two individuals unlinking from each other. The video shifts focus again and then shows three officers surrounding the man.
Soon at least seven officers surround the man. One is on the man’s back and another who appears to have a cannister in his hand strikes a blow to the man’s chest. Several officers try to bring the man’s arms behind his back as he appears to resist. As they pull his arms, his face is briefly visible on camera. The officer with the cannister strikes the man near his head several times.
A shot rings out, but with officers surrounding the man, it’s not clear from where the shot came. Multiple officers back off of the man after the shot. More shots are heard. Officers back away and the man lies motionless on the street.

Trump posted something and it had the word "insurrection" in it.
I think we know what's coming. At least the threat, till he (hopefully) backs off.

President Donald Trump unloaded on Minnesota elected officials Saturday in the wake of the fatal federal immigration officer shooting earlier that morning, going as far as to accuse state leadership of “inciting insurrection.”
A 37-year-old Minneapolis resident was killed Saturday after several federal officers opened fire after having wrestled and beat the individual in a chaotic scene captured on video. The killing has sparked outrage across the nation, including in the city of Minneapolis where hundreds of protesters have clashed with police.
“Much of what you’re witnessing is a COVER UP for this Theft and Fraud. The Mayor and the Governor are inciting Insurrection, with their pompous, dangerous, and arrogant rhetoric!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
The individual killed by federal officers was accused by the Department of Homeland Security of approaching officers “with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.” The agency also alleged that the individual’s behavior was consistent with someone who “wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement,” though facts of the incident have yet to be verified.
In his social media post, Trump shared an image of the individual’s supposed firearm, along with some questions of his own.
“This is the gunman’s gun, loaded (with two additional full magazines!), and ready to go – What is that all about?” Trump wrote.

Looks like ICE agents tried to take people's phones away from them after the shooting.

I expect that the NRA will send millions of 2nd Amendment fundamentalist Americans pouring into the streets to protest the assassination of a lawfully carrying white man ...

I had a similar thought earlier today, wondering what the reaction of supporters of the 2nd Amendment might be.
Well....from the MN Gun Owners Caucus:
We are deeply concerned by this morning’s reports that a federal law enforcement operation in Minneapolis resulted in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Alex Pretti by federal agents. According to local officials, the man was legally armed, a firearm was recovered at the scene, and he is believed to have been a lawful gun owner and permit to carry holder.
Many critical facts remain unknown.
We do not yet have an independent account of what initiated the encounter or what triggered the use of deadly force. Despite widespread speculation regarding intent, there has been no evidence produced indicating an intent to harm the officers. We are calling for a full and transparent investigation by both state and federal authorities.
Every peaceable Minnesotan has the right to keep and bear arms—including while attending protests, acting as observers, or exercising their First Amendment rights. These rights do not disappear when someone is lawfully armed, and they must be respected and protected at all times.

No doubt -
Once again, not a case of a newbie agent at work. The guy who shot Pretti was CBP (I didn't know Minneapolis was on a border) agent with eight years experience.
From a former head of CBP:
He said last year that he does not think that DHS’ use of force policies are designed for protest or civil disturbance settings and does not believe that DHS agents have followed their own use of force standards.
A federal judge eventually found DHS officials' "widespread misrepresentations call into question everything" they claimed to be happening to operations in the Chicago area.
"The judges have listened to the declarations, they've listened to testimony, they've reviewed the videos, they've, judge after judge has come to this conclusion that these operations are clearly outside the normal practice of any law enforcement agency," Kerlikowske told the FOX 9 Investigators.
Despite numerous judicial rulings, Bovino has continued to claim his agents' actions are "exemplary."
He said the agent who repeatedly fired at a man on the ground Saturday morning has worked for Border Patrol for eight years and is well-trained.
"The officer has extensive training as a range safety officer and (is) a less-lethal training officer," he said.

If he's an experienced CBP agent and he's doing this in full view of witnesses recording his actions, I can only imagine what he does at an actual border when no one is looking.

A nearby resident who is a licensed pediatrician also submitted a sworn declaration, saying he observed much of the encounter from his apartment and went outside after hearing gunshots to try to render medical aid.
"At first, ICE agents wouldn't let me through. They repeatedly asked for my physician's license, which I obviously didn't have," the doctor states. "But none of the ICE agents who were near the victim were performing CPR, and I could tell that the victim was in critical condition."
The doctor said an agent eventually allowed him to assess the man, who was lying on his side and surrounded by federal officers.
"I was confused as to why the victim was on his side, because that is not standard practice when a victim has been shot," the doctor states. "Checking for a pulse and administering CPR is standard practice. Instead of doing either of those things, the ICE agents appeared to be counting his bullet wounds."
The doctor said he observed at least three gunshot wounds to the man’s back. After asking agents to turn him onto his back, he said he saw an additional gunshot wound to the upper left chest and another possible gunshot wound to the neck.
The doctor said he did not detect a pulse and began CPR until emergency medical crews arrived and took over.

Overview of where things stand, including court filings by MN. And a statement from a woman who was standing five feet away.

From the doctor:
After returning home and being distraught, the doctor left their home once “tear gas began seeping into [their] apartment.“ This is how their declaration ended:
