Where on Earth are the Millers?

Here are a few clues:

Based on the flowers I see, perhaps you're visiting Lilylady. If so, please give her my regards and tell her this was a very good year for the daylilies at my home.

Oh awesome!!! Say hi from us!!!
-
Yes, please send her my very best wishes!
What are you bringing home with you???
-
Lucky you! Such beautiful gardens.
-
Glad you asked!
Yes! After nearly 30 years of talking on line, I finally got to meet her and look over both her spectacular property and her grand old home. I brought the family, of course, and the grandsons, 4 and 5 were a lot more interested than I thought they’d be. Jack was most interested in eating berries from her blackberry bush but Rory inspected the flowers very carefully - probably because they are at eye level!
Such a charming and welcoming lady! I wasn’t sure she’d want a couple of 5 year olds romping around but she went out of her way to point out things they liked!
I’m bringing a spectacular yellow double petal variety home, probably in my suitcase. I’ll put it in a location of prominence in my garden. They’re tough and the flight is short -should be fine.
Bobbie is next to me in the photo.

Fantastic!

That's great! Such beautiful gardens and flowers. I'm not surprised to hear you had a wonderful time.
-
It’s funny - I know two Bobbie’s and both are deeply involved in lilys. The one here in Ohio founded Lily Fest on her Hocking Holls property with all it’s beautiful gardens. It’s now a large event with artisans, musicians, etc.
-
Lilyfest? Hocking Hills? We’ve been meaning to visit Hocking Hills -it’s supposed to be beautiful.
I’ll check it out! Thanks!
[edit] Darn. Just missed it. Next year for sure!
They have live music!
-
Beautiful pictures. Would like to see that myself.
Will check for lily allergy rating.
