I know that this pasta company is made in the US (and the ones I have had have been excellent!) I鈥檓 currently not buying from them because I鈥檓 trying to support non-US companies here in Canada, but it might be helpful to US based folks here: https://www.sfoglini.com/pages/contact-us

I'll stock up. For one thing, I wonder if the types of wheat used in Europe tend to be different. And I've tried some American brands that taste distinctly inferior, though I certainly haven't tried them all.

I'm among the exceptions. I'm constantly battling to put weight on and I burn crazy calories exercising.

Trump cuts tariffs on beef, coffee and other foods as inflation concerns mount
Haven't checked to see if pasta is in the mix.

The little Italian market I popped into yesterday had DiCecco at $4/lb. The proprietor said next week it will be $8.
On the other hand, today I was in my usual Key Foods supermarket and DiCecco was on sale at 2 packages for $5. I bought two but may go back for more. Lately it鈥檚 been $3.79/lb. there.

@jon-nyc except for that trifling lung ailment, you have enviable genes - the metabolic gift you just mentioned and (even more desirable IMO) somehow only getting by on about half the average sleep the rest of us poor slobs need.
(And I'm the opposite - need at least ten hours sleep
)
