One home tuning in the morning and then 2 in a church after that. It's more "me time" than work at this point!

I hope Mr. WTG heals quickly! Sorry to hear about the issues you had with the process. If anyone can set them straight, it's you. I wish you all the best in that endeavor!

I agree with the concept, but it’s weird that this needs to be a law.

Thanks @Lisa and @wtg for these comments! Yep, we're going with a highly recommended company and they do have a guarantee, although I'll double-check to make sure that it's a full one-year. Yeah, Oct. will be crazy and Mr Sk will be away for some of it so that's why I want to avoid Oct. Re soil temps, I have a hard time believing we'll get below 40 in the first week of Nov... I'll report back. We still have to decide on a lot of details (exactly what, where)...

Years ago I was hiking when I encountered a man who was lost and looking for his group. He was looking for a sign. It took me about a minute to realize the group had lost the idiot on purpose. He kept repeating that he was looking for a sign. I restrained myself for a while as he followed me repeating that he was looking for a sign. Eventually I told him how to get to the trailhead parking lot and that he should get in his car and get on the highway where he would find a lot of signs. Shortly after that we ran into his group. They were not glad to see him. I slinked away. I think he was the guy the group left on the mountain.

My dad retired from his factory job after he had done it for 30 years. Within a year he was working full time selling motorcycles at a Harley Davidson dealership. He has been there for more than 20 years now (he is 73). He went to part time last year, making it the first time in over 50 years he hadn’t worked 6 day weeks. Meanwhile, my retirement date is February 1, 2033. I will be 57. While I may not retire at the end of that school year, I am doing a lot to make sure I CAN (financially) if I wish to. The younguns can have my job if they want it!
