Oh, yeah. Some people, as I understand it, and I could be wrong, are loosing everything. They can't pay the assessment(s) and the condo complex evicts them. I think there is legislation in Tallahassee to extend the time the owner has to pay the assessments from one year to three, but I'm not sure what's happening with it (something else I should know by now). I'm only looking at condo buildings and complexes that were built between '68 and '76 (I could go as far as '77 but I really don't want to because a type of synthetic pipe material and pipe connection that became notorious for failure was introduced around '77). I'm not looking at new construction or any frame construction. I don't want it unless it's concrete block. My grandparents' house in Tampa was concrete block. They bought it '63 and and it wasn't new. Concrete block houses in Florida started in the '40's as far as I can tell. These interiors are virtually sound proof. They don't excel during fires. They don't excel against floods if they're single story. But above the first or second floor in a concrete building is where you want to be in a hurricane. And the virtual silence and privacy in an urban environment can't be found any other way here. I plan to have a buyer's agent and need to have a real estate attorney. I plan to methodically pull together every piece of information available on every unit I might buy. I don't view this as an industry necessarily made up of people you can trust. I'd rather trust myself to do my own research.

Well I'm not eating candy again. I'm going to watch the whole video because a woman breaks down all the test results and gives alternatives to various products.

@Daniel Actually, I don't think it's all dumb. I think calling it intelligence is dumb, and insulting to mankind. But the problem is the way AI is being developed and enveloping society by a handful of tech corporations, some of whom are showing clear signs of fascism. Congress should do its duty and put the brakes on AI until a clear understanding of its damaging effects is better understood. What negative side effects will AI bring? What danger will it pose to the safety of citizens? How can it be controlled by other than the profit seeking sector? The power in this country belongs to the people, not corporations who will do anything for power and money.

Well, assuming they made no scientific mistake, and a living thing lived for 24,000 years, or came back to life after being frozen for 24,000 year... is this meant to be about the idea that deceased human beings might be frozen (they are being frozen) and brought back to life in the future? I've always thought this idea was macabre, and I do not believe it is possible or will ever be possible. Imo, these matters or only decided by God (or by the Universe, if you like).

Interesting. I don't think we've been told the full truth about Fukushima, btw. I don't think we ever will be told the full truth about it.

Thanks. I received a notification in writing when I checked my scroll down notifications. It gave me the option to unsubscribe and to report spam. I did both. I also when through specific app notification permissions in my setting and turned off the ones I didn't want. So, in fairness to FB, it has nothing to do with FB. Ok.

Yes, it's an old university. I've actually been there. A lot of impressive scholarship happens there. The renaissance of authentic instruments, performance techniques, and textual analysis of composers' texts in classical music happened there. I, personally, far prefer Cambridge, for many reasons I won't bore you with, though. Again, I'm reminded how young the US is as a nation state. Impressive architecture is ubiquitous in the UK. Love it.
