Peanuts meet hazelnuts

I don't want to rain in anyone's parade but I would read the list of ingredients.
I've been reading the list of ingredients on the labels of processed foods lately. It can be shocking, both what's in them and (once you find out) how they're processed.
Who knew they commonly put arsenic in candy? This is a according to the State of Florida, executive department. They did scientific studies that proved it. The First Lady and Surgeon General held a press conference about it recently.
I don't want to opine about this because I'd rather do something more fun.

They don't tell you about things like arsenic. A lot of our food supply now is genetically engineered and poisoned with pesticides and other toxins.
I mean my favorite candy is Jujy Fruits. It was favorite when I was a kid. I buy it sometimes. But I know I'm eating petroleum with a lot of other toxic ingredients, maybe even arsenic.
I'm as nostalgic as the next person.

Yeah, that sugar as the main ingredient throws me off.
Yea, the original Nutella also has sugar as #1. I love hazelnuts, and I know people love Nutella, but I've always found it to be way too sweet.
I made homemade Nutella when the kid was little. It was SO DELICIOUS. And of course I could lower the sugar content. Highly recommend.

The State of Florida found a person's permissible arsenic level for a year in one candy bar.
I knew they tested different products and found arsenic in candy.
I didn't know how much.
I watched part of their press conference with the Governor's wife and the Surgeon General.
