Yes, it's an old university. I've actually been there. A lot of impressive scholarship happens there. The renaissance of authentic instruments, performance techniques, and textual analysis of composers' texts in classical music happened there. I, personally, far prefer Cambridge, for many reasons I won't bore you with, though. Again, I'm reminded how young the US is as a nation state.
Impressive architecture is ubiquitous in the UK. Love it.
