    I mostly hate new movies, but Wicked is worth a look.

    Great music, great sets, a few delicious references (what’s it all about out, Elfie?). Too long, tedious script but one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.

    Recommend!

      Did you see it in a theater? (Wait, that;s the only way to see it right now? 😅

      I haven’t seen a movie in a theater in ages, we should do that during the winter break!

        I loved the musical so I am looking forward to seeing it (though I will wait for streaming!)

          It’s nothing like the musical, really. I’d also say it’s worth seeing in a theater to get the whole effect.

            I'll see if I can convince Mr SK.

            He wouldn't go to see barbie with me, and I ended up watching it on the plane to Japan. (On the tv monitor on the back of the seat in front of me. Talk about a viewing experience, yay)

              We saw it in a theater where the picture wrapped around to cover the two side walls. Very cool.

                @Steve-Miller
                I want to see a movie on a screen like that.
                Read that the best seat is one that reaches to the edges of one's peripheral vision. I liked sitting that closely until I saw a movie with explosions that seemed to be constant.

                  They are showing it in some 4D theaters where you will feel things and your seat will move. That would be fun.

                    Saw it in 3D from the wheelchair row with mom-in-law over Thanksgiving weekend. Loved it! I haven’t seen the musical, so it was all new to me. But I did catch the wink cameos of Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. Only because I used to watch Glee. I loved the singing, Cynthia Erivo especially.
