Some friends from college contacted me about getting together. I thought - sure, great. I'm assuming we'll get together at a nice restaurant. Nope...it's at a mediocre diner that my parents used to frequent - i.e. not quite as nice as Denny's. My first thought, "that's a restaurant for old people." Second thought..."you are old people."

@kluurs Sometimes we just have to be gracious. I was taken to dinner after I gave a concert in Baltimore, and it was at a diner. But I reasoned that this was not New York and the only places open after 10 PM were such as these. We make the best of things.
