The one in Illinois is maybe 20 minutes from my house. Field trip! Mr wtg would love a carry out order…

I think I had lunch there a couple times when I was at Resurrection in Des Plaines.

Given that they list Crabill's in Urbana, OH as the best, their judgement is suspect. Crabill's is basically a privately owned White Castle. Ugh.

Only one in each state? In NYC there would be fierce arguments about the best in each of the 5 boroughs, not to mention the whole state.

I've never been to any of them. A few looked quite good, other definitely not. One or two looked sad.

I bet if they had done this 20 years ago the NY winner would have been Shake Shack, back when they were literally just a shack in Madison park. Now they're a big chain.

White Castle is the worst and that's saying something. I remember when I worked at Wendy's the quality was 10x better. I remember when I lived in New Orleans the quality of Popeye's was 10x better. McDonald's was the best when I was a kid. It's turned in genetically modified, pesticide infused, dangerous cooking oil, chemicals added garbage. I'm sure their labortories are working hard to make it even worse and squeeze more profit out of it.

I'm looking forward to cooking at home.

I've been to countless restaurants in New Orleans, Hawaii, and everywhere else. Been there, done that.

                  Joe, I know. Right?!

One of my great-grandfathers retired from Lance after 20 years. They couldn't have been making this kind of garbage.

I'm serious. I plan to buy the food I want and as much or as little as I want and to buy oils and spices and to stock a pantry. How's that for a run on sentence.

Food cost a small fortune anyway and it's become worse over the last year. Even I can look at prices and tell if they were raised from one week to the next.

Processed foods might be less expensive than all natural or organic foods but what does that matter if you're getting no nutrition and the food is harming you?
