WTF

Yikes!

I'd just like to say, in my humble opinion, Grindr is disgusting; the use of life threatening and neurology destroying drugs by gay men having anonymous sex is disgusting; and promiscuity is disgusting. 🤮

@big-john I assumed the same. I knew people who took a chance with it and died. I'll never understand. My ex and I were tested-- twice-- before we made it a non-issue. You can read from my various posts we basically got into a fight that never resolved and we're living in a mobile home we own with our names on the title conjoined with "and" as opposed to "or" meaning neither of us can evict the other. It's to the point now that we literally never say one word to each other. This is an improvement. Well, he decided to relive his youth and to use Grindr. This was about three years ago. He takes or took the prevention drug. It didn't save him from another serious but treatable sexually transmitted disease. Thankfully, it wasn't syphilis. Again, I'll never understand. And, I'll flat out say, again, I, personally, from a sensibility perspective, think promiscuity is disgusting. I think people have the right to engage in it, but to say there isn't a nexus between gay men, promiscuity, and street drugs would be delusional. I haven't only seen it. I live with it. It's like living in a circle of hell. My ex overdosed on GHB and was in the ICU about a year ago. It didn't slow him down at all. He smokes meth and rationalizes it as a normal way to live. It's more like a normal way to die if you're stupid enough be doing it at 60. I might be moving out next month. God, I hope so.
