Can’t believe that snowstorm! It’s 40 and rainy at home in Portland. I’m in Madrid, and it’s sunny and 67. Lucked out!

    You're in Madrid? How exciting!

Crisp and fresh sunny spring day here. That's the transporter bridge in Middleborough btw

Lots of birds to see, rarer birds included Goldeneye, white fronted geese, water pipit.

Also a pair of stonechat, lovely birds...female

I guess I should mention we're in a severe drought.

I'd gladly share our rain if I could. We had three nice days this week, managed to seal our flat roof, paint a window, and mend a couple of drainpipes, then last night the rain set in again

I wish you could send us some, Andy. Apparently, the extreme lack of humidity is exacerbating allergy conditions (mine is a severe allergy to mold I developed when I was 29 in New Orleans and now made worse because the house molded after Hurricane Milton caused the roof to leak water in the house and in the walls). Allergy medications aren't stopping the symptoms now and my nose hasn't stopped bleeding along with producing constant mucus along with constantly coughing up mucus. It feels like a chronic upper respiratory infection after happening for months. I heard today the lack of humidity might be a partial explanation. I've scheduled an appointment with my Doctor for next week.

Today we awoke in a cloud, no rain but visibility about 50yards.

Saw this little guy resting on a wall yesterday. It’s a warm spell, in the 40s yesterday and 50s to 60s today.

Spring won't start until March 20th. Even now it's what I would consider early summer weather.

83° or 84° can easily end up being 86° or 87° inside.

Nothing noteworthy here until Thursday when it will be 75° with heavy rain and moderate wind.
