Did anybody have, “ And then Biden gets diagnosed with Covid”, on your predictions sheet?
I think they’re just messing with us now…

I hope it won’t cause him lasting damage, and that he will get well soon.

this is at least the second time he’s had it. I would think the most likely cases that he misses a week or two of campaigning, which is not great.

Any excuse will do. Thank you, Joe, but it is time to go.

Why would you bow out from a two-week illness? Makes no sense.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. He just came back from Vegas and COVID is running rampant out west.

So much of this seems to be about political hubris and saving face. Claiming a complicated reaction to an illness gives an excuse, rather than giving in to the people urging him to drop out.

I'm sort of where Mik is at. I'd be surprised if a bad case of COVID is tagged as the reason. But I guess anything is possible.
And at this point, it really doesn't matter what reason he gives. Everyone will know why he dropped out.
