I’m really sorry you are going through all of this. Having mobility compromised for any reason is so hard and to experience that setback must feel so discouraging. I hope things get better soon!

@ShiroKuro I am so sorry to hear this! There’s really no way to not use your legs/feet, so it’s hugely impactful when one or both of your feet are not in good shape. I hope the swelling goes down quickly, and that you can figure out a way to get around reasonably.

dang...so sorry...this all sounds painful and frustrating as hell. Yeah, we're mostly at that point in life where a combination of fragility and coordination make us more prone to injury. Eventually, we get good at dealing with it - but still frustrating.

Yeah, I am probably not as robust as I think I am! 😕

Yeah, I work out more than most people - at any age - and yet...I know I have to be much more careful. A good friend who works out 2-3 hours a day - missed a step and broke both legs when he stumbled down a single step.

My sympathies, we are indeed at that age when we have accidents a bit like kids do.
Concentrating too much on our dogs, with my left hand on a door handle and right hand high near a hinge as I closed the door; yes I caught the ends/nails of my first and middle fingers, right hand, in the closing door.

I can very well empathize with you over your toe and all the other foot and leg problems you described. I hope you are finding some relief from pain. I wish you a quick recovery for at least the toe.

@AndyD In my FB memories from 2018 today, I lost a battle with the car door. Click…OUCH!

That cut into knitting time, but it also cut me some slack during Thanksgiving dinner prep.

                        OMG that's horrible!!!

I was also diagnosed with osteopenia, and I couldn't help but wonder if that contributed to this toe break. Maybe not, it was a pretty hard impact.

@AndyD OMG are you ok? Did this just happen? It sounds incredibly painful!

@Big_Al how are you doing these days?

@AdagioM yikes! Well at least it's just a distant Facebook memory!
