The condom controversy

People on the right are going nuts after today's White House press conference.

Condoms are apparently used by Hamas as balloons to carry IEDs to Israel. This was identified as an issue back in 2018, at least. At today's press conference, the claim was made that $50 million dollars was allocated in some aid budget for condoms for Gaza.

There's pushback from people in the previous administration, calling the claim "a feverish dream" and "outlandish".
