Can't get to the FB post.

Am so, so sorry to hear that. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Here’s the post her niece made if you don’t do facebook. There is a PO Box listed in the thread where we can send cards, I won’t post it here, but you can message me if you would like it:
“I'm writing this for Kathy. She wants her friends to know she had a stroke the day after Christmas. She has aphasia from the stroke making if very difficult to communicate. She is in The Rehabilitation Hospital of NW in Post Falls, ID. Also she has contracted COVID at the hospital. She is doing a little better, but cannot read or write at this point, it is also hard to grab the right words when she is talking. She is physically doing OK, it is the communicating that is the biggest challenge right now. She wanted to let you know what happened. Myself or her family will post updates as to how she is progressing.”

Covid on top of a stroke, that’s just awful.

I’ve been in touch with her sister Sheryl (I can’t remember her forum name), and it is indeed difficult trying to organize from a distance. Teachum’s husband passed away last year, so it’s a pile on of hard times.

Oh, no. Horrible news. I hope she has a full recovery. Sorry to hear of her husband's passing as well.

@wtg Thanks, we’re friends in real life, met at Sonata camp in 2000. Our friend group is nicknamed the AdagioBabes! So I knew it was Adagio somethingorother.
