Something happened in the last few days here. It used to be that there was a color change to the topics indicating read or unread. Now they are just all the same dark grey...??

      I’ve noticed the same thing.

I think there are different formats for the forum and I'm wondering if @Axtremus changed to this one.

The font changed on the page that lists all the topics; it's bolded and it's easier to read in some respects, but as you've noted it's harder to see the new posts. I always go to Recent (the clock icon at the top) to see the whole list of topics, with the one that's most recently been commented on coming to the top. Just to the left of that is another squarish icon that has a number on it if there are unread posts. You can click on it and it will show you just the topics that you haven't read.

The other change is that you don't see who posted last, or the teaser snippet of what they said.

For myself, I prefer the previous format.

I still see the unread in blue and the read in black. It may have to do with the skin you are using. I have Default - no skin in settings.

Good point. I switched from Simplex to no skin, and now I see blue and black, and the unread posts are a bit bolder, but it's still a bit hard to distinguish them from each other. I still think I like the previous format better.

eta: I tried a bunch of other skins and you can't tell which threads have been read and which haven't.

Yes, default setting helped for me! Thanks

I sent a message to @Axtremus to ask about what's going on. I'm thinking that folks preferred the previous forum format. Also, @Big_Al noted in the DOM Redux thread that most of the photos are missing, so we have a definite technical problem.

I have an out-of-town guest, but will try to check back periodically and see what @Axtremus says!
