Where I was the last few days

We all worked together in the 90s. They all came up to the Cape with me to do our three day bike fundraiser.

3 days, 150mi total.

This year they canceled days 2 and 3 due to a Nor’easter. We usually ride rain or shine, and that’s the ‘official’ stance, but on Saturday and Sunday we had sustained 25mph winds with gusts to 45mph so they canceled two days for safety.

This is fun though - on Saturday we found a hatchet throwing and archery place. That was a goof.

We decided to hold off on the beer until after. Most of us did anyway. Then again we got there at noon and most had had plenty the night before and later that night

Envying your bike riding, as my knee is acting up and can’t do it right now. I’m sorry the two days were canceled for you…I think September is just the best weather for biking in the NY area, barring any nor’easters.

Yikes! I’m glad they canceled!!
