    There was a weird vibration in my piano at C and C# above middle C.

    Found this in one of the soundboard holes. So glad I found it before the piano tuner comes next week; that would have been embarrassing.

    Cat must have worked hard to get it in there. Like putt putt golf under the edge of the lid!

      I really want to get my piano tuned, I’m working on recording something and the upper registers sound a little jangly to me. But the weather is changing so I feel like I should wait a bit…

        Found a battery tucked under the back of the bridge on a grand a few weeks ago - that one took a while to find!

        Buzzes and noises in and around pianos can be so difficult - often it is something on or near the piano instead of the piano itself.

            @Rontuner Yes, my blinds will sometimes vibrate sympathetically with the piano. It’s the plastic header and bracket on top down/bottom up cellular shades. I have to go jiggle all of them and then it stops. But this one sounded different!
