Feeling old yet?

Yes, it reminds me I feel old.
I've had many such reminders lately.
I had a trip and fall in the dark on concrete. I landed on my lower left rib cage with my hand protecting my head. I tore and pulverized muscle tissue from my left shoulder to where my ribcage ends. The palms of my hands are bruise. My left hand bend backward to a severe angle.
I've been in pain for a week and counting. It's so wrong to realize that my almost uncanny ability to catch myself when I fall can only last for a finite number of times moving into the future.
My trustee and I had what I'll call a difficult conversation on Saturday, all the result of the fact she created a needless drama that was mind boggling in the pointlessness of it.
I did what I was asked to do when I was asked to do it. She refused to follow one note of explicit instructions (again, she asked for a list of explicit instructions containing agreed on information sought) the reason being she wanted to do it a different way.
She didn't think to get a bank check and take care of it when she was at the bank on Saturday, and was remiss in not buying physical checks for the trust account, as it turned out.
She then insisted on me giving her information I didn't have so she could use the bank's auto generating check feature.
She told me she was not going out of her way for me again (it never happened in the first place), berated me about my situation (completely inappropriate), and accused me of metaphorically beating her ("I'm not your punching bag") in a way that was bizarre, not at all apt, and offensive.
I had to run down some facts with her and tell her to keep her judgmentalism and accusations to herself in the future.
I used nicer language but with the same meaning.
She's 15 years younger than me; she has the time (apparently) and the energy to act this way.
We agreed on "next steps" (if barely) but she can't be talking to me this way. It can't be "a thing."
She'll know what it feels like to be 60 when she gets here. She's in for a rude awakening.

Thanks, jon. She actually did get the the service for the new place today. It starts on Wednesday. I have to insure the breakers are turned off by Wednesday morning to prevent a power surge. The cashier's check was sent USPS tracking on Saturday to the buyer's agent. I have papers to sign. My car should arrive any day now from NY (the Bronx, lol). I bought it after seeing an ad at Cars.com. It was last driven in Montana but it's got only 24k miles, 1 owner, and clearly it was garaged. I don't have the car yet but it's insured. So it won't be long now.

When I was young, Igor Stravinsky and Dmitri Shostakovich were living composers. Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Prokofiev, and Ravel were "recent." In high school I was playing piano works by Barber, who was still around.
I saw Arthur Rubinstein give a concert in Miami. He debuted with the Berlin Philharmonic in 1900.

I heard Rubinstein in concert too. With orchestra. Of course, I was a wee teen then.
