    Interesting ideas but the article reads like AI to me so I read some others by the same author. Same style.

    Vine peaches?

      Paella? A chef has time at home to make paella? Hmmm...

        @Mik

        I had the same thought. But then maybe paella isn't a stretch for a real chef, which I'm not.

        😁

          Muffin's Sister cooks for five these days. Everybody has favorite things they ask for on special occasions, but I think the fallback meal is meat and a couple of sides, usually seasoned and lightly cooked fresh vegetables. For the meat dishes, she uses her sous-vide and grill a lot.

            Not that hard to find out. Just ask the children of professional chefs. The answers are ultimately of little consequence to the general public.

              Interesting bit in Atlantic:

              The Biggest Tell That Something Was Written by AI

              Look closely and you’ll see that every part of the text is not quite right.

                Interesting choices. One that appealed to me:

                Pastina

                “Pastina is the ultimate edible hug! It’s my absolute favorite comfort food. I start by simmering some chicken broth — store-bought is totally fine, no judgment here! Right when the pastina is almost done, I swirl in whisked eggs, grated cheese and a crack of black pepper, then top it all off with a pile of fresh spinach. I let it steam for just a couple more minutes and boom: a bowl of pure soul-satisfying magic. But the best part is it takes less than 15 minutes and uses only one pot, so cleanup is a total breeze.” — Ayesha Nurdjaja, executive chef of Shuka and Shukette and author of upcoming cookbook Mediterranean All the Way

                @wtg This sounds good, but some measurements might be helpful!
