            Much wisdom in this remark. I bought a Yamaha NU1XA hybrid piano a few months ago to replace the Clavinova that I'd had for many years, but which had died and for which repair parts could not be obtained.

            Now, if I could only persuade my fingers to regain some of the agility they lost over time.😣 😣

                  On my recent birthday. 79 I went to a piano store.
                  It is a Kawai GX1. Had a GX2 years ago that was too much for the place. I like this one and my technique has improved.
                  Have a row of Corning acoustic panels against the wall behind the piano, covered with a black fleece blanket.
