      Love that! The triumph of pure mechanistic analog. Extra cool that it was done with a Vorsetzer (the contraption that sits in front of the piano and plays the keys.)

          Wait, so what is he doing with his hand? Presumably if he pedaled faster, the piece would speed up, right?

          How interesting! I’ve never seen one of these before.

            @ShiroKuro His left hand is controlling the sustain pedal. The second video shows and explains the controls available to the person pumping.

            I don't know if pumping faster speeds it up but it sort of seems that it does.
