    Residents now homeless.

    I feel for these people but PSA-- do not buy in a condo building built in 2015.

    I won't consider one that's frame construction. Not only do you have quality issues but in Florida you have rot issues and the two can be related.

    These people are released from none of their financial obligations, btw.

    So, for many of them, their lives have been ruined.

      From what I read it’s an apartment complex so they probably aren’t ruined.

      The building owners, on the other hand, probably are. While they in theory have a claim against the building developer the latter probably did the work under a single-purpose LLC and has already been dissolved.

        That type of construction is pretty straightforward and hard to screw up.
