I listen to Pandora for solo piano music, and I listen to Spotify for j-pop (I mean, come on, I have to know what my students are talking about!

Anyway, recently, I thought I should try to get a piano channel on Spotify. But I could not, for the life of me, get it to play solo piano music that wasn't absolute shit. And I never recognized any of the pianists. Usually when I listen to Pandora, there are some pieces I don't care for, but I always find many that I do like, and I often find something I want to play myself. And I recognize a lot of the artists, even if I don't know the piece. Not on spotify.
I immediately suspected that the compositions were made by AI. I have no proof obviously. But that would explain why I never found anything compelling. Anyway, I haven't listened to spotify for piano since then.

Yeah, that’s pretty sad. I mean, that’s not a genre of music I normally listen to but it does nail the angsty self-involved thing.
