Adding to my bag collection

I like the apparent quality. Also would wear as a sling…waist packs make me look like a fat tourist.
I have a Travelon … what? Shoulder bag I guess. Very good interior pockets with tricky zips for security. But lousy cheap exterior fabric that puckers and it lacks reinforcement at the corners. Time for something nicer.

I ordered it yesterday. I guess I'll like the color. I don't really like dark brown. I learned from the Shop app (follow delivery progress of orders you made) they make it in black. They were just sold out. I think this one should do nicely. It'll be practical and under the radar.

I’ve seen that tracking packages through US Postal too. They take a road trip around the country and decide to spend a few days in one city.

This will add to my Time Resistance backpack (short review: The Divine Comedy, excellent quality you would expect from Florence, great design, vegetable dye interestingly enough, A+)...
and Lands' End canvas tote with zip top and long handles (you're not supposed to wash it but that never stopped me).
I need something for when I just want to take my wallet, keys, cellphone, glasses, and so on.
This works as a belt bag or sling. Belts and I don't get along (I tried).
I'm going to wear it as a sling.
I'd buy it in black but there is no black. So I'll buy it in brown.
I like the red color but it would attract too much attention in my city and state.

Joe, interesting.
My experience with USPS last night is I had to use WD-40 on my mailbox lock (while I was there) and use it on the parcel box, and then kick the parcel box open. The key was turned to the locked position (meaning it can't be pulled out of the box and the door was locked shut. This was after I drenched it with WD-40. So I kicked it hard and it opened. I'm not impressed with USPS lately for a variety of reasons.
I just checked again. It's still in Memphis.

There's two more I want, men's small duffle bag, black, metal feet, and hard brief case, black, with attachable handle (just always wanted one, I have an obsession with boxes).
I suppose I should get some red, too, because I have an obsession with red leather. A single zip toiletry bag.
These will all have to wait until I'm in my new home and buying them will definitely depend on how my personal affairs settle.
They'll be a lot of things I actually need to do: furnish my home, buy a washer and dryer, take care of any needed repair work, etc.
I wouldn't buy them all at once it I buy them.
I might buy the duffel bag before February. I love my backpack but I'd like the functionality of a duffle bag. I like the metal feet.
This seems extreme and it might be.
But for full grain, hand made, vegetable dyer leather from Florence, these are give away prices.
Famous brand names are 10x the price (or more) and the quality equals or surpasses these pieces (rarely).
For now, my new "system" depends on my delivery.
Next on my list is a locking metal cabinet and a key lock with a thin wire that will fit through the bottom openings of my backpack's zippers.
I am writing my cousin and asking for another advance tonight via email. She is a very formible person and I admit I'm scared of being spoken to very sternly and/ or told off.
But I have things I actually need to be able to live here for six months that there's no way I can manage with my roommate not contributing anything.
My bag was supposed to be here Thursday. I'd be excited if they just put it on a plane to somewhere else at this point.
I'm procrastinating writing my email.
