I do the gratitude and things to do today elements in the morning, but only in my head. I'm thinking that the writing it down and checking during the day would be valuable additions to the routine; I'm guessing they would help reinforce things. Also adding the things to watch for and things to strive for.

    Thanks for the nudge.

It's just soooo easy to fall into timesuck habits like games, chatting, reading interesting but utterly useless articles.

That's one I probably wouldn't give up. I've read most of the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader books, loved playing Trivial Pursuit, and watch Jeopardy every day.

Just call me Cliff Clavin. 😊

The addictive nature of it is intentionally similar to slot machines and the like, with the exception that they bore me to tears after 5 minutes. Not so internet.
