Did not join the crowd in Tucson because we went to a Parkinson's gathering.
Wish I had joined the introverts.
Doubt the crowds got much attention from those it was protesting. That will require something with that affects their wallets or their physical security.

Ax, I'd also been wondering what this meant, as someone on tncr has adopted the expression in their signature.

We had an excellent turnout in little Williamsburg. Lots of cars honking in solidarity ... well, not the one Cybertruck that went by.

Even private commercial vehicles (truck and buses) joined in. Even a USPS truck.

Sorry, just noticed this thread so I deleted my Hands Off thread. Putting the post here instead.

Over 1400 protests all over the country yesterday, coast to coast. The traditional news media doesn’t seem to be covering it in a big way, no real numbers. Just “thousands” of people. Perhaps because it was decentralized, not one big organization like the Women’s March in 2017?

I’ve seen the total pegged as 5.2 million nationwide, but I still don’t know how many here just in Portland. And there were many groups all over the metro area, not just Portland downtown proper.

I’m encouraged by what I’m seeing.

                          Elbows up! 👍
