Yes, the Dawkins mentioned is probably the one you thought of.
"Richard Dawkins FRS FRSL (born 26 March 1941)[3] is a British evolutionary biologist, zoologist, and author."

Met Mary Anna at Wakulla Springs years ago. We took a ride on the river that flows from the spring. We were "attacked" by
the manatees, the alligators ignored us.
    We saw no night crawlers.

This horse might want the heavy metal music turned off because it’s annoying as hell. 😄😄😄

Oh dear! You're probably right! 😁

I was wondering if they would compare this to the tobacco warnings. ETA i mean, i was wondering what they found from the tobacco warnings and how this would compare.

I’ll be curious to ask my students what they think about this when the fall semester starts.

It’s chilly over here on the west coast, but up to 88 at the end of the week. I turned the furnace back on last night…

The other thing I'm curious about is whether/when the gray matter reduction is reversed.

This might take a while, seeing that the brain shrinkage phenomena were only discovered c. 2021-2022. Even if the gray matter is to grow back, it will take time; the ongoing responsibilities of actively rearing young children may continuously suppress gray matter replenishment. 😉

@wtg NYTimes had a much rosier view of that meeting. Not sure who to believe.

Was told it is customary to turn only the plugs ins that are wired to a wall switch upside down.

Ooh, that's interesting!! The new house has those plugs that are wired to a wall switch in the main bedroom, but no where else.
