About every 20 years the market crashes in a big way. Crash of ‘87, The Great Recession of 2008, etc. I’ve been wondering what might cause the next crash and Bitcoin may well be it:

We had a thread about that next door. I don't invest in things I don't understand, and despite reading, i still don't quite understand bitcoin.

I don’t invest in Bitcoin either, but I do wonder what will happen to the larger market if it crashes.

Corruption will probably be the cause of it. Corruption always seems to be the cause of it.

                +1.

I think crypto has value only because they say it has value. I call it BS.

According to Edward Snowden, crypto currency transactions can be made difficult for the government to track but the government can always track them.

This means if the government in the future decides to "turn off" the digital currency many governments seem to want the crypto currencies won't be an exception.

I don't see the point of them.
